1. In consultation with staff and guest presenters, works with CER staff to set the schedule for all regional events.
2. Locates, negotiates agreements with, and books suitable venues for events when requested.
3. Provides support for first-time online event participants.
4. Works with presenters to establish room setup and audio-visual needs and arranges for same.
5. Ensures guest presenters have travel and accommodations support.
6. Ensures on-site logistics required for each event are taken care of and meets CER standards in coordination with the local host.
7. Provides online support for the bulk of CER events and arranges for substitute support as needed.
8. For major region-wide events, provides on-site support or arranges for substitute support as needed.
9. Acts as registrar for CER events, creating, tracking and monitoring registration forms and lists; responding to registrants questions and concerns; and, communicating with registrants as needed.
10. Tracks payments from registrants to CER events and follows up with unpaid registrations and puts in for refunds as needed.
11. Solicits participation in post-event evaluations.
12. Maintains event metrics.
13. Coordinates with local host to have nametags, handouts, and other print materials available.
14. Distributes presentation materials to registrants.
15. Collects information for background checks and submits that information for review; maintains database of background-checked individuals.
16. Sends out W-9s to presenters and completes honoraria check requests for Financial Manager. Regularly updates W-9 database.
17. Works and supports with host committees, especially youth and young adult groups, in following CER policies for hosting their events.
18. Actively participates in administrative staff meetings.
19. Attends regional field staff meetings as needed.
20. Works effectively with each team member on events.
21. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor, the Regional Lead, the Director of Congregational Life, the Chief Operating Officer, or the President.

Note that the successful candidate must live in the UUA’s Central East Region and will be expected to work from a office.
